DJM has been tantalising crowds up and down the uk for 6 years, he
has a unique DJ style rarely attempted by others which incorporates more
musical styles than you thought possible. Soul, Mowtown, Hip Hop,
Glitch Hop, Rock n Roll, Break beat, Indie, Drum and Bass... the list
goes on. Pop music from every decade since the sixties is scratched,
mixed and seamlessly blended together into one unbelievable musical
explosion. The amalgamation of these genres takes the listener on a
nostalgic rollercoaster ride throughout recent musical history, whilst
delivering phat beats and a dirty bassline.
DJM has NOW played alongside artists such as IRATION STEPPAS, DJ
SWITCH (DMC World champ), TOTAL SCIENCE, NICKY BLACKMARKET, KENNY KEN,
UK APACHE, UTAH SAINTS, ATOMIC HOOLIGAN, 808 STATE, JEHST, HATCHA,
BEARDYMAN, KRAFTY KUTS, A SKILLZ, STANTON WARRIORS, ELITE FORSE, PLUMP
DJ'S and DJ YODA.
This mix was performed on 1 Numark TT1610 belt drive turntable with
original needles, 1 Stanton SA3 mixer complete with a lighter strapped
to it with string to keep the broken right side fader depressed so that
it works (you need to see it), an Oxygen25 midi keyboard, a Medion lap
top and Serato SL1. It took about 50 takes, mainly due to technical
hitches. Apologies for the poor scratching I was up against it. Dj-ing
is not a poor man's game,boo hoo. Also its in mono, feking dodgy
