Dj SLAY-NEE Started d'jing on a pair of silver kam direct drives at the early age of 15 after deciding I wanted to do more with his love for music.
Garage was hot on the music scene at this time. So naturally it was here that his roots to the turntablism began . After a few years of mixing garage he progressed on to much more technical beats and thunderous basslines got mixing jungle/drum & bass around the age of 17. After this there was no going back for him .The Jungle had taken over . Before he realised he was getting messy on every rave possible.
Reaching the age of nineteen James became aware that as good as his D'J skills where the world was a wash with D'Js and the only way to get himself recognition and make an impact on the Great British Music Scene was to create his own homegrown sound .
Now living in london he has networked massively with some very respectabl people in the music industry who have helped to guide him in the right direction and towards his unique sound Now with his belt full of the skills and understanding for the process of producing, from writing, mixing & mastering he is ready to smash up the music scene up, down and all the way accross the country. Expect to see big things !
